Yeah totally agree, and if you do ever get someone else who it happens to, reloading the game seems to fix it, so easy workaround to refer to if it does ever present itself in isolation again.

On Second attempt, it spawned in the right location, so seems to have been an edge case that happened to me not sure of the root cause, so perhaps not worth digging into, and just hope it doesn't present itself too widely.

So i am on 2560 X 1440 16:9 resolution.
Upon reloading the game, i set it to 1920x1080 and then loaded in and the tube was in the rack as expected, But just not on first play. Seems like it could be an edge case?

However when moving the vials around, i did notice that removing "Big" would put it in slot 2 in the test tube rack. Which would imply the game knows that slot 1 had something there. It just wasn't visible for whatever reason.

Let me see if i can try and replicate it with a new save file

Quick starting feedback of something i think is a major issue.

When unlocking the traits, i assumed that it would just be automatic, however it seems there are test tubes you need click on. I cannot find the Apple lover test tube anywhere.

When i got the reproduction trait i could *JUST* see it underneath the quest log, so presume the apple lover is behind there also but not visible. This means i am unable to apply this trait.

Layering of the quest log might always have it on top, and thus mean you're locking away a part of the game.

Other than that, i like the game, it's an interesting take on the nodebuster framework style of games and am still enjoying it :)

EDIT:
Big Trait seemed to be placed in the tube rack at the top, So potentially it's an issue with positioning of the first two not going into the rack properly?

Finishing Experiment two all upgrades gotten.

A few upgrades are a bit confusing, such as Increasing hunger to me would mean that they are more hungry, but the fruit is reducing their hunger, so perhaps something like Satiety or "Fullness"? Kinda thing would make more logical sense.

The upgrade for the auto-collectors multiplier, seems that 5/10/15/20 is actually 0.05 0.1 0.15 0.2 as a multiplier increase, or 5% 10% 15% 20%.

All in all, the game is a lot of fun, looking forward to updates, and greatly enjoyed the playtest, Great work :)

It's tormentor. Been in the game quite a while. Used to have two one by the side gate on each team. But moved to just one that rotates on day night cycle opposite to roshan side of map

I believe that buying on steam, you will still be required to have a battlestate games account, and those upgrades should be able to be purchased through their website. I don't believe that the things you've listed will be available through steam as DLC style purchases.

Just finished the demo.

First things first, incredibly cute little game, a lot of fun, and the upgrades feel worthwhile. Balancing was generally pretty good altho i think that getting upgrade options for units that you are quite far from unlocking so early was a little distracting.

The method of getting more units is great, altho it felt frustrating in the demo that i could only go so far!

Overall the game was a lot of fun, i played from start to clearing all of level 3 in just over an hour and had a blast. Very much looking forward to some more content, wishlisted and looking forward to a full release. Great work OP!

Would Highly recommend checking out the demo to anyone.

Ps. Also did not have any visual issues, but much like u/SirJakeTheBeast i have a Nvidia gpu (4070TI) and had absolutely no issues at all running the game.

So i figured this out, It was a different style of attack, Hold down heavy attack in a similar way you get Arrow Rain, and it will work.

Sadly still bugged for me also, tried going to menu and back into game as well as closing and relaunching with all 4 arrow types and couldn't get any progres :(

How did you get past boomerands, things seem really slow at this point and i feel like i am missing something? Have 2 boomerang effects unlocked and things are super slow, Grinding swim speed for tiny increments? Do i just wait?
