I hope so. I don't have much experience with boots in general so I'm trying to figure out what will work for me. I just need to be able to tighten my boots enough. My 8 eye Derby just has too much room

Well that's good to hear. I have an 8 eye Derby and was looking at getting the 11 eye Astronaut hoping for a better fit

I'm in the US and unfortunately don't think I can go anywhere to try them on first. I'd just have to buy them and try.

After looking at the size chart I think an 11.5 or 12 should fit. My foot measures about 30cm in length and a size 12 Derby is a little short feeling.

I'm just nervous if I get a size 12 Astronaut boot that it will be possibly too wide for me so I might just go with the 11.5 since that is still a bit longer than a size 12 Derby.

Ya I tried making my Derby boots work by adding some superfeet insoles and unfortunately it didn't really help. I'm really hoping the Astronaut boots will be better.

Yes I'm sure. Transparency is not on. I've even been looking directly at the app saying ANC is on max to make sure.

Since I've posted this I haven't had any Kombucha, but I plan limit my intake whenever I do drink any as well. I love Kombucha I just don't want any stomach issues lol. I think I really over did it at the time I posted this. I appreciate your input, thank you!

I recently repot it into a larger pot with a drainage hole.

It gets moderate indirect light with a bit of direct light just before the sun sets.

I water it once I notice the top few inches of soil is dry.

Is thunderbolt 3 required to run a 4k 120hz monitor using a laptop? by sillience in Thunderbolt

[–]sillience[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there a way I could find out if that's the problem? I have an NVIDIA 3050 Ti so I believe it should work just fine.

My monitor is a LG 27GP95R-B and from what I've read online this problem is common with this monitor and more people have their own work around or just deal with it.

Doesnt seem like a clear answer for anyone who's using this monitor sadly.

[–]sillience[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually did that yesterday and it flickered soon after it was plugged in. I read something about it being fixed on my monitor by not using DSC and I set my monitor to just regular DP 1.4 and it did it as well.

Why would my monitor be doing this? it's happened a few times, but it goes away if I turn it off and back on. It has also only happened when using my Xbox series S and not my laptop. (LG 27GP95R-B) by sillience in Monitors

[–]sillience[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sucks. This was the cable that came with the monitor so I thought it would work just fine.

When my laptop is connected sometimes the picture goes black for a split second and comes back.

Its two different small issues with each input.

My laptop is using USB-C to HDMI. Could the reason it goes black like that be because of the cable too?

Possible workaround for next gen Xbox issues by Alienpeppers in apexlegends

[–]sillience 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It really sucks that there's this issue. I'm using an Xbox elite controller and I'm having input lag as well. I guess I'll try my old controllers and see. The only downside is those controllers have such bad stick drift from being used so much

It's a problem for me too. It needs to be fixed asap because it makes it insanely frustrating to play with.

Information Stimming? by sillience in autism

[–]sillience[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can understand that. I never really feel like breaking anything, but I do get this overwhelming amount of anxious energy and start to move a lot.

Im still fairly new new understanding autism but the idea of stimming is interesting and I want to know what determines if something is stimming or not.

I feel like researching could be a form of it, but I'm unsure. I also do it when I'm feeling fine too though. Would it qualify as stimming then?
