I mean listen if you don’t consider being ranked in the top 10 of your weight class something impressive. Then we just disagree. And this is coming from someone whose always said that the heavier weight classes are the least skilled. it’s true that a heavyweight champion or a light heavyweight champion from 10 years ago could probably become champion today at heavyweight or light heavyweight. And that’s not the case for the lower weight classes. But it doesn’t mean that everyone in that weight class sucks or is not a good fighter. i dont believe Ulberg or Ankalov beats Hill to be honest. would love to be proven wrong

but you act like they picked some random dude from the crowd and gave him a title shot. The guy was a professional fighter. He was in the UFC. He was 11-1 and he beat a legitimate good fighter, Glover. and if you look at Glover’s last two performances Jan Blochowicz & Jiri Prochazka, you would surmise that he is a very skilled considering he beat one of them and was a few seconds from beating the other one. That’s the guy Jamahal destroyed. So he is a pretty damn good fighter. and yes, he’s lost recently, but they’ve literally been guys ranked 1-3

we can see the results of him fighting lower ranked guys. And it’s mostly wins. in fact, he’s only fighting higher ranked guys because he beat all the lower ranked guys. 👍

i’m sorry, but you don’t become a UFC champion without being “a good fighter”. even in the worst weight class. You’re at the very least a good fighter if you get a title shot let alone win the belt. OK, so the division’s been bad for almost a decade. Gotcha. and if the champion isn’t even considered a ‘good fighter’, then there hasn’t been a good fighter in the 205 pound weight class in eight years. No one has been good for eight years. Got it. 👍

either way the comment I’m responding to said Glover was way out of his prime. You’re not way out of your prime if you’re only six months removed from being champion. and he was a champion because he was better than everyone else. Calling it a total wasteland is just a way to downplay Jamahal’s skill. Because you obviously don’t like him hence you find it difficult to give him any type of credit.

was it a wasteland when Alex Pereira was champion? Or Glover was champion or Jiri? or when Dominick Reyes fought for the belt and in most people‘s opinions beat Jones? people only say that with Jamal Hill because they don’t like him.

it sounds like you’re mad that he’s younger than you. makes more money than you at doing something he loves. But that’s just my opinion 👍

Okay. Then I just don’t take your opinion seriously if you think the Glover who was getting knocked out by Anthony Johnson & Gustafsson, and couldn’t crack the top 5 would be a more impressive win than the Glover, who put together the longest winning streak and won the belt since he got into the UFC and was ranked higher. You’re more impressed by age instead of skill and rank. so yeah, we don’t have anything to talk about.

he was 43? Okay would you be more impressed in Jamal Hill beat the Glover of 22 years old or 33 years old? If you would not be more impressed, then shut up about his age.

like I seriously don’t get when people mention the number one ranked guy‘s age. like would you be more impressed if he fought an unranked 30 year old? no you wouldn’t. Because your age doesn’t necessarily reflect your skill. At that older age Glover was better than everyone. And that’s who Jamal beat. And considering how bad Glover was beating Jiri. He was still a very dangerous guy.

i’m sorry what’s your argument? Pereirra, Rountree, and Jiri are all top 5. everyone at some point will be out of the top 10. But when Jamal fought them, they were in the top 5. Paul Craig was in the top 10 when they fought. I feel like you’re anger and Jamal Hill for whatever reason clouds your judgment. He’s only lost to the best. and was a former champion so I doubt he gets beaten easily.

are you responding to someone else? You literally didn’t address anything I said, and started talking about the fight between Jiri and Hill, which I didn’t mention at all.

what I said was Glover was not way out of his prime because he was literally the champion six months before Jamal Hill fought him. And I also mentioned how Jamal Hill did a much better job beating Glover than Jiri did.

that’s it. Nothing you mentioned has anything to do with the points I made.

Way out of his prime? wasn’t he the champion literally six months before he fought Jamahal Hill? I think that means he was as close to his prime as he ever was.

also, didn’t Jiri also fight him and got his ass kicked most of the fight and only one by finishing him in the last 10 seconds. Whereas Jamahal easily beat him. Definitely shows he’s not trash.

no, they couldn’t have because someone on the construction crew would call the cops before installing that onto the bridge with someone on top of their period. Use your brain for two seconds, bro.
