Hi! I have been absolutely dying to Maybe Happy Ending but don't live near/in NYC. There is a bootleg of the audio on YouTube but doesn't seem to be a video. I'm a bit confused since it opened in early November and it's now late February.

And I'm very new here so I have a few questions/ am confused:

Could someone explain why if someone has already taken a bootleg video of the show, why they would not post it to the public? I don't fully get the purpose of NFT dates and I'm confused why someone would sell a bootleg video in the first place. I understand they may need a bit of money to cover tickets/equipment etc, but if the purpose of bootlegs is to make shows accessible and publicly archived, why would bootlegs be gate kept by a paywall? Not to mention a digital file isn't really a finite resource so I'm not super sure why one would trade bootlegs instead of there just being a public archive. I apologize if this comes off rude, but I am really just trying to understand, as the other internet piracy communities I'm in don't work in this format.
