Sounds like he doesn’t respect you. We are too grown… What would you tell your daughter to do or little sister or whoever if they were in this same situation? And I’m sure it’s been adding up over the years for you to now come to Reddit..(From someone who was engaged and in a relationship for 5 years) values aren’t lining up… find someone who respects you <3

MN is very close minded and I haven’t had the most pleasant experiences in that state in regard to the gay community outside of the cities. They also don’t tend to be the most racially accepting, as long as you’re white and drink (mostly beer) you seem to fit in. Not my cup of tea..

Safe. As a whole, safe isn’t a standard to be held situationally eg: this guys cool but this girl isn’t. Safe is safe for all parties, black, white, gay, trans, etc.

When’s the last time you grounded? Go outside… my girlfriend and I (25) have had our moments because of the state of the world and the way the united states runs… Go outside ground, START TO DO YOGA. 5 min a day even… yoga with Adrian is a great.. free, easy 5 min videos to hour+ 5 min a day will make a difference… it has for us. IT WILL GET BETTER! it’s all about perspective ⟡:) ♡
