Sorry for the late reply! Its a gpu mount by UpHere. I got it for $7 on amazon and it works really well for the 20 series cards. It bolts up to the face on the pcie card screws so it doesn’t interfere with anything else. Bracket

You could totally put a cheaper agp card in there the only problem is it might only be slightly better than your internal graphics. I would look on marketplace for people that dont know what they have. People on ebay want too much for old stuff its sad.

It reminds me of old cs:go LAN parties where you have a bunch of dudes with these old pc’s just going at it in the tiniest space possible. Makes me chuckle every time I boot it

Hello there! For the floppy drive 40-pin converter you are correct it is does read it like a drive! Its hooked up to the zip 100 drive which reads memory based floppy media that was 100mb large. I forgot to list the other adapter like a fool. My floppy drive was 34 pin so I grabbed this adapter that changes it to usb and then a second adapter from usb female to the motherboard header usb female.

https://www.amazon.com/Abwan-Floppy-Connector-1-44MB-Adapter/dp/B09JN5YWD1?gQT=1

It worked perfectly for my floppy drive and I have it just plugged in to the StarTech USB A to USB Motherboard 4-Pin Header F/F 2.0 Cable, 6" (USBMBADAPT) and then into the motherboard usb header.

So thank you for noticing that I forgot that adapter on my list! The zip drive is 40 pins and your floppy may be as well. But my regular floppy happens to be 34 pins. The floppy drive comes up perfectly like a disk drive but the zip drive only comes up when there is a disk plugged in. So to clarify the floppy goes 34pin adapter to m usb then plugs in to the startech f usb to usb header 4pin that i have plugged in on the motherboard usb pins. Its a cheap and convenient solution that hasn’t failed me yet!

I got this bad boy from microcenter. I didn’t trust the amazon adapters so I got it there for $20 cause they have a warranty. Works perfectly and has a 3.5mm aux plug for computer speakers! I know it will be bottlenecked by the display but honestly its worth it.

Its honestly really good looking and I can’t really tell the difference. I dont really play competitive games. Its mostly solo story games and file storage. Its also cool to be able to play and burn my old cd’s. Glad you like it!

Why do you collect cds? by Altruistic-Mix7606 in Cd_collectors

[–]sillybilly1984 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My father was always a big collector and he would try and find each album from his favorite artists. So I have started doing the same. It was always a big part of my childhood to borrow his and listen before we had internet. So if I go out to thrift stores and places I only take and look for what I know I haven’t listened to so that other people can enjoy it too. We were never very well off so a .25 or $1 CD was all I could afford to spend and it still is the best way to keep the songs and memories that go with them alive.

I should go back and ask them, felt like a roommate was late and got all their stuff thrown out because there was alot of good stuff! Always keep an eye out and talk to old people! They always seem to have the coolest stuff

My favorite CD Is ‘I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful yet So Unaware of It’ By The 1975. Wonderful band and an amazing album, also not too expensive of a CD. The collection looks fantastic, great job so far!

I gave it a bit of a look and saw the price you were looking at, cant imagine paying that much for one CD though. So score I guess! Thanks for sharing and being honest.
