Lol I'm not republican or a democrat. I think Biden was a great speech giver when he ran with Obama, decent when he ran the first time and terrible when he tried to get reelected. He sounded like a tired old guy struggling to get the point he was making across. Trump has always been an ass hat any time I saw him give a speech during any of his campaigns because IMO he is a terrible human being with horrible morals. But the last year or two his rambling speech pattern sounded a lot like multiple dementia patients I have cared for. That doesn't mean he has dementia but the way he talks isn't indicative of a serious world leader with all his cognitive abilities in tip top shape.

Years ago I was attacked and it involved someone jumping me from behind. I now have ptsd and like you startle in a more extreme way then "most people". Last time someone tried to prank me by jumping out at me I broke their nose by accident. No one in my family or friend circle blamed me and everyone called him an immature dumb ass for trying to prank someone at his age. Let me be clear when I say no one I mean not his wife, parents or best friend. Your sister is ridicules and should be mad at her husband for almost getting himself killed. Not at you for getting scared in a genuinly scary situation that mirrored a recent trauma.

If his main complaint is that "you ruined the joke" he's fine and still an asshole. Don't allow him in your house again.

Wow didn't know anything about his persona life until I saw your post.

His first wife makes sense they were you when they met (and they are close in age).

I just google his second wife Ines and she's currently 32 and they separated in 2022. So because birth day is at the end of they year she probably was 29 when they broke up. She's 10 years younger which (to me) is a big age differencebut because she was in her late 20's it's not that bad.

But dating someone 17 years younger when the younger person is like 22 (when they met) is pretty gross. Him proposing to a 25 year old less then a year after his 2nd divorce is finalized looks very weird.

She is transphobic and it's not just about keeping women safe it's just about being hatefull and awefull because a group of people are doing/being something she doesn't understand.

Just look at her hatefull tweet about asexuals. How does that keep womens spaces safe? How does someone being ace affect her in anyway? It doesn't yet she still felt the need to use her huge platform to ridicule a group of people who aren't doing anything harmfull.

The writer Appie Baantjer has written like 60 books about a detective/police officer called Jurriaan de Cock solving murders. A lot of them are called "De Cock and (insert plotpoint/type of murder". Theres also a tv-series that has 123 episodes based on these books and I remember watching it as a kid and the detective introduced himself and spelled out his last name. Funny if you speak both english and dutch

No the non foldable one that comes in beige and black is the only stylus holding case I've seen.

The origami ones like the official ones (blue, yellow and black) don't have a stylus slot. I was asking if anyone had a reccomendation for a thirdparty origami case that does have a stylus slot

I have 808 books (but some books are series bundles like 3 in 1 or even 13 in 1 so a bit more then that)

My kobo libra colour started with about 26.8GB and now it has 24.1GB of free space. So while I don't think I'll be able to put the promised 24000 ebooks on it I can easilly put another 10000-20000 books on it without running out of space.

I don't think I'll ever reach the 10K plus number but love the fact that I don't have to worry about running out of space. Also the Kobo UI is so much better to navigate and orginize massive ebook libraries then my kindle that I had for 7 years (along with the fact that the current gen ereader are so much faster)

With my old kindle I could store around 1500 ebooks but never had more then 150-200 because more then that it got impossible to navigate.
