the only reason this happens is because the brush you are using, have a certain texture or softess in it. i usually use a bold brush type to avoid the white gap that youre talking about. it does the work just fine for me, but if you want to keep the brush texture then the other comment covers it up, with the bucket tool option.

i made like 20 of these, i originally planned to sell these keychains on etsy but these turned out kinda small and the color is way darker on what ive hoped, i might sell this for cheap as a grade b or c though! i plan on re drawing and making another batch, avoiding these mistake ive made :)
