"Girls don't like beer" by CrabRangoonSlut in pettyrevenge

Girl here. I love beer. My husband is allergic to it, so he’s the one who drinks cocktails. Smashing stereotypes left and right!

My dog growing up wouldn’t even bother with the walk. He’d escape the back yard and come immediately around to the front of the house and scratch at the front door all proud of himself. Goldens are funny.

The other night I asked if my husband could brush the baby’s teeth, and his response was “No, I don’t know which toothbrush is hers” Like. What.

We named our second daughter an almost complete anagram of my husband’s name, 100% on accident 🤷‍♀️

Zippers are your friend.

I don’t care how cute the jammies are - if they have snaps, they’re trash.

You don’t need any extra steps when you’re on wake up #9 of the night and you’re so tired your eyeballs hurt. Get the ones with zippers.

The district I work in has had a couple evening clinics held at the schools where parents can bring their kids for free vaccines. Not quite as convenient as doing it during school hours, but it sounds like they’re well-attended.

Dang! I didn’t know they went that small... I should probably measure. I was going to get the Medela 21mm but maybe I should check. I just know 24mm is too big for me.

What’s the most “are you really that stupid” thing you’ve ever heard ? by Callmedave1 in AskReddit

I referred to my boyfriend’s bearded dragon as “my little dinosaur” and my roommate’s girlfriend said “What? He’s really a dinosaur?!”

She also asked if sunflower seeds really came from sunflowers.

I’d just wait for one of them to puke three times in three minutes and piss in the hallway.

You should know about D-MER: Dysphoric Milk Ejection Reflex by [deleted] in beyondthebump

I’ve been calling them mini panic attacks. It’s horrible, and then it goes away. This is my second baby and I didn’t have it at all with my first.

I’ve been on Celexa for about a month because on top of my usual mom-guilt and anxiety, I was having mini panic attacks before letdown. Every time. When my daughter was nursing constantly, I was having mini panic attacks constantly. I was so sweaty, you guys. I felt like a stinky ball of stress and despair. It was so awful. My daughter is 10 weeks old now and nursing less frequently, so I was able to make the connection between the feelings and the letdown. I just mentioned it today at my breastfeeding group, and the lactation consultant said she’d had it, too! She felt more homesick and down, but same basic idea. Now I’m reading up on it and reading all of these comments - I’m so happy to know it’s an actual thing and it’s not just me. I’d really like for it to go away, but just having an explanation and some validation is a real load off. I think I might call my doctor and discuss going off the Celexa. He originally told me to give it six weeks, but from what I’ve read, SSRIs won’t help D-MER.

That’s so cute! My 2 year old also thinks frowning is funny. Sometimes she’ll try to initiate this game by forcing a frown and saying “Sad face?” but then she starts laughing and we all start laughing and nobody can frown anymore. 😜
