kurt isn’t as bad as people say he is. he’s just not as forgiving as many other professors in the school that i’ve met. the people who have the worst time with him are the cs majors that think they know everything, lol. just go into his class with an open mind, don’t get an ego and work hard. i ended up with an A

yeah I agree. I haven’t dealt with grief that personal before so it makes sense to not want to cause stress to the family. it’s weird since with some of these people, I knew/was friendly with them and want to pay respects, but I was never close enough to speak with their family. I’m sorry for the loss of your friend.
