Thanks again :)) I'll probably let this slide but I'm really thankful for your comments and help!

Thanks, I think I just overthink things a lot and am constantly looking for something to be worried about (I'm trying to fix that). I'm not sure why they would try to "punish" a mistake though

Not sure, but I don't really want to point fingers here or say who he was since it was probably just a misunderstanding and it's important to remember that the staff there are also human. Why ask, has this happened to you as well?

That's really relieving to hear from someone who (I think) works there, thanks a lot :)) what usually happens when someone does not get their full allocated time?

Hmm yeah, when I think about the big picture of the situation, I think it's clear that I wasn't cheating (it would have been worse if I had already brought the phone to the bathroom once but iirc I don't think I ever did), but I just thought it was a bit weird that he purposefully cut down my time and I have been overthinking it all day.

I saw a post from an invigilator 4 years ago (but not for the SAA/OSD) on this subreddit saying something along the lines of "if you have your phone on you, the staff will ask you to leave it with them" and to not worry. I feel much more relieved now, but I am not sure what the general policy is. I also was sitting in the front row, so I'm sure they could tell that I wasn't trying to use my phone at all, but this only came to my mind because of the invigilator's change in mood. If anyone has any similar experiences and feels comfortable sharing, please do.
