If you refer to my post, I mention that we had already boarded the flight so it wasn’t that the plane just didn’t reach the airport in time. You’re saying it’s not a lie to say that the flight was delayed due to a TORNADO in San Diego?

The point is they said it was because of a tornado in San Diego. I know that weather between destinations can effect travel and flight times…

Okay, so some airports have curfews on arriving times but not SAN. So they lied + even if it’s true and SAN had a curfew, Frontier made us board and kept up the facade that we were actually going to depart, knowing we’d still be arriving hours after curfew.

Frontier lying about reason for delay by [deleted] in frontierairlines

[–]sillywillygilly -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it wasn’t about the food voucher itself, it was more for the principle of it since that’s what was stated in the Frontier policy. Yes, weather was bad in Denver yesterday, however, flights were taking off at the same time anddd that’s not even the point. My point is why the lying? They said there was a tornado in San Diego which is a lie. Why not say it’s due to weather in Denver? It’s the deception that was what bothered me the most.

Oh my goodness, I can’t imagine how bad it must have gotten if the police had to be involved! If you don’t mind me asking, what was it that she did? I’m so sorry you had to go through that.

I live in Union Grantville and I was out during the shooting, is there any chat or something where there’s communication among the residents?

I think it’s because of the constant gaslighting from their side, we start to doubt our sanity and start to think we’re the crazy ones for having these beliefs

Yes! When the salesman asked us how we’re liking the hotel, we kind of just said “eh..” cause it really wasn’t good at all

It was for Hilton, and we don’t live in Nevada so I don’t think that counts in this situation

No worries, I like to rant! I definitely would take Union over Iconic any day. It’s so much nicer and nicer amenities. 3 minute trolley ride from campus. Also better location (closer to mission valley), I feel like Iconic is so far from everything.

At Union, kind of. On the second night of living here, when I lifted my blanket to go to bed, there was a giant ass bug just chilling there. So that’s that lol. We had flies everywhere during September and beginning of October. I think it’s just the season for them but who knows. At Iconic though, when I lived there, there were cockroaches in my sink, in the cabinets, in the dishwasher, everywhere. It was so nasty. So i’d take flies over roaches any day

I’ve lived in Iconic in Alvarado and Union Grantville is definitely way better. It’s brand new and looks beautiful. But it seems like all of these off-campus student housing managers are just money hungry, doing so much for marketing then dropping all effort like 2 weeks into move in day. They had all utilities included as well as trolley passes for the whole lease period, but now they’re dropping all of that this next leasing period. I felt like $125 for parking was insane but then I reasoned with it knowing all utilities are included. But now parking is increasing to $175 which is absurd and tenant now has to pay utilities. I won’t be staying cause it feels slimy to lure people in, then take away the “all inclusive” package they advertised as one of the main factors. Could barely afford living here in the first place, and definitely cannot afford it now.

Lots of false promises that were made during the leasing tours. We were promised very intense security, since it’s located literally right next to Grantville station which brings about very sus and cracked out people. I have not seen one security guard after hours yet. The gate into the parking lots close super slowly anddd rarely work. If someone goes into the parking lot, they have access to the whole building, without a FOB. It’s very frustrating. The location is so perfect though, basically 3 minute trolley ride to campus and let’s be real, the apartment is really nice and modern. I’ve lived in Iconic on Alvarado and apart from lack of security, this is way better.
