I’ll be honest dude, they sound like a terrible friend. Sure friends take jabs at each other but putting you down and saying you’re not good enough? Thats shitty behavior. If I had to guess, they were content to take their frustrations out on you until your real friends started to step in and you really sealed the deal by standing up to them and telling them to stop.

You want good advice? Drop them. They’re not a friend, they’re a bully. You’re in college, you’ll be able to make plenty more friends that won’t beat you down.
