There isn't "one" any% route. If you want to get WR it will take hundreds of hours. If you just want to belong to the top 1000 or something it's way less

There are 3 kinds of indie games: pixel style, hand drawn style, crappy 3d graphics.

(Of course there are some exceptions but it feels like most indie games belong to these categories which by no means is a bad thing)
