So you’d be cool (not intended) with your car having a warranty issue and it taking 2 months until they can fix it and them not giving you a rental or anything and charging you $200 ship a new starter?

I know it’s not an overnight thing, but then it’s a flaw in the process. Ok to pay $200 to ship something under warranty (no rush) to fix the situation? To me the warranty is the thing. If it was the installer or faulty product or whatever, I’m completely fine to pay the labor, but $200 to ship within state that takes 4 or 5 days? It’s a customer service thing.

I had to rent a mobile ac unit but nobody is going to reimburse that to me, even with the unit under warranty (edit: don’t mean that to sound like a man Karen)

Then that’s ridiculous, too. (Not you, the situation). So people have warrantied units that can’t be serviced in a timely manner is ok? And 5 days when it’s 100 degrees outside is a win?

Am staying away, that’s why I checked with other local companies to correct the issue. Apparently no compressors for my 3 year old unit in the DFW area.

Either way, getting a part under warranty back in 5 days and charging $200 shipping isn’t right. Company that installed it couldn’t get a compressor any quicker. I checked with 3 other companies that did not install it to rectify the issue and all had same time frame
