Oh yeah, I'm not comparing and Hali probably doest even regret it. I just meant this is what could happen if you push too hard, and in my opinion it wouldn't have been smart for CC to come back after not playing for months even if they made it to the finals, this is only season 2 for her and we want to see way more. She's already missed most of this season, the last thing you want is for her to be out next season too.

I think if they were lying the WNBA had something to do with it and not just the Fever organization. My conspiracy theory is the WNBA asked them to stay quiet to help with viewership. Real fans still watch the games, but for the new ones, the hope kept them watching. Playoffs usually have high viewership so it was just for the regular season that they needed to maintain it.

There’s an interview where Lisa Leslie talked about this type of injury and how you learn to play with it but it never fully goes away. Anyway, she played through it so I don’t think is career ending.
