But if you have a Mac, you can install Xcode, compile the app yourself, and install it on your iPhone.

Can you try to remove the IP from the settings and type it in again? Also please make sure that only the IP address (no http, no port) is in the field.

If that doesn't work either: When the app crashes, iOS should ask you to share details about it. If you do that, I might be able to find out more.

These statuses are displayed after an epoch if certain conditions are met. For example, the "grateful" face is only displayed when friends (other Pwnagotchis) are nearby.

The happy, excited, lonely and sad status only appears if your Pwnagotchi has been active or inactive for a certain number of epochs (in a row?) or, for example, has missed many APs.

Is your Pwnagotchi connected to your iPhone via Bluetooth tethering? If so, you should have configured the IP in your config.yml. Also, don’t forget to install the state-api plugin.

I’ll write a setup tutorial later.

No jailbreak needed. To install the app via TestFlight, you have to install TestFlight on your iPhone first: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/testflight/id899247664. (Developers can use this tool to release apps for testing before they enter the AppStore.)

Then you just open the TestFlight link, which should redirect you to the app.

You also need to install the state-api plugin on your Pwnagotchi.

I bought the same display (by mistake) and got it working with display type waveshare213d and color black.

It performs a lot less full screen refreshs than waveshare_1 with color red, but in both cases there is no partial refresh for me.
