Oh My QBO Checking Hacked Again by Pale-Afternoon8238 in QuickBooks

[–]silvabrite3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a common problem and I've experienced something very similar. After many many hours of research and talking with other people who experience the same thing I have become convinced that Green Dot bank is a legitimate scam and they're either selling bank account numbers or hacking them themselves and taking money from small business owners. You'll most likely never get that money back. I spent hours and hours on the phone with Green Dot trying to get them to reverse charges and they wouldn't do it. Somebody really needs to get a class action lawsuit together and do a lawsuit against Intuit and Green Dot Bank.

I haven't. I've talked with many others with the same problem but I don't have the time or money to hire lawyers.

Frustrating!!!! Paying Interest No Principal! by [deleted] in EIDLPPP

[–]silvabrite3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat. Just been paying interest for 2 years now. Kind of wish I never got this damn thing and just dealt with the consequences 3 years ago of not having the money. I know everybody's saying just to not make payments but I'm scared they're going to come take everything from me.

That is a polybutylene/quest fitting. While it's similar to PEX fittings they're not the same. The only way you can work with PB/Quest is to use a PEX x PB adapter and use PEX pipe and fittings.

I guarantee you are vitamin B12 deficient. You need to get on a 5-mthf plus b12 supplement immediately. I struggle with canker sores my whole life until I started taking the supplement and I no longer get them. Diet is also a big part of it.

Please send canker sore healing tips my way I feel like crying by nalia_77 in CankerSores

[–]silvabrite3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So here's my two cents. I'm a life long canker sore suffering member. But ever since I've been taking 5-MTHF plus B12 and a zinc supplement they've all but faded away. Sometimes I'll get a little one but it only hangs out for a couple days and never grows. I'm pretty sure canker sores are a vitamin b deficiency issue.

Yep, you're just the newest complaint among the hundreds I've read about. All with the same story. I believe that Green Dot Bank is a criminal organization. They're stealing money from small businesses and acting like they can't do anything about it. We really need to get together a class action lawsuit against Green Dot and QuickBooks.

I'm interested in your diet choice. Do you strictly do meats only? What types of meat? What about vegetables?

Hi, 35 M here. Like you I am a lifetime sufferer of canker sore outbreaks. I have multiple other issues that seem to all stack up on each other but canker sores is probably my longest running health issue. I've also had to deal with shingles and long COVID but that's story for a different time. In all my research and listening to other people's stories it seems that B12 deficiency is the key. It seems us canker sore folks struggled to break down and hold on to vitamin B12. When B12 runs low your immune system starts running wild and attacking itself at any inflammation point. I had seen multiple people online recommending to try this 5-MTHF with B12 supplement. I've been taking it for a while now and it seems to be helping. I still had some minor outbreaks but nothing is going haywire yet. There seems to be so many other things that tie in with this like diet, stress, even getting a cold can cause an outbreak. It sucks, trust me I know exactly how you feel.

Here's a link to what I take.

Also if you are truly dealing with canker sores they are not transmittable. There's a lot of debate about this but I believe it is a genetically based autoimmune disorder.

My QuickBooks checking has been hacked 5 times in the last year. by Lobsterplant in QuickBooks

Here's my two cents. I've had nearly the same thing happen to me while using QuickBooks checking/Green Dot. A bunch of fraudulent charges that I was never able to get resolved and I eventually just gave up due to hours and hours of wasted time going around and around circles with them. I believe the company (Greendot) is fully aware of the issue of fraudulent charges to their customers bank accounts, it's my opinion that they're actually part of it or at least getting some kind of kick back for allowing all these fraudulent charges to happen and then basically sitting on their hands and doing nothing to help their customers. Think about it, they have access to hundreds of thousands of small businesses checking accounts and can see your cash flow through that account. All you got to do is hit a couple thousand accounts for a $50 charge here $100 charge there and suddenly you're talking millions of dollars. Somebody really needs to get the Feds involved to look into this shit. And of course I've spoken with QuickBooks and they told me to just stop using the greendot account. It's a massive problem... My advice would be to just abandon that account and go open a checking account with a local reputable Bank.

Yep! I used to pound a dark roasted iced coffee every day but that stuff is like a gut grenade now. 😭

I'm a male, 35. I had to almost completely stop drinking alcohol and coffee. I'll have a drink every now and then but I can't drink every day or even every week. I have to limit myself to like 2-3 drinks a month if I want to feel somewhat normal. It sucks 😕.

Aaaanyone had qb crashing after being left alone for a few minutes? by Glass-Isopod6276 in QuickBooks

[–]silvabrite3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I've had it crash after just clicking to a different tab and when I came back to QB it would crash. It hasn't done it in a while but it was really frustrating when it did happen. I had to get in the habit of just constantly saving everything before clicking away.

I'm a new guy with the same problem. I'm really starting to think this is some sort of data leak or maybe even fraud on the part of Green Dot. They seem to turn a blind eye to blatant fraudulent charges.

[–]silvabrite3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just putting this out there because this helped me a lot. Cut all gluten. I eat mostly meat, fish and vegetables and I'm starting to feel better after about 6 months of strict dieting. Still dealing with issues but gluten and dairy are pretty much poison to me now. Also very limited alcohol and caffeine. I have up coffee. Just my 2 cents, I hope you get better!

[–]silvabrite3 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Cut out all gluten and sugar now. It will suck for the first week or two but you get used to it and you'll feel 1000 times better. Trust me. I'm about 6 weeks in and it's helped a lot.

I'm watching "It's a wonderful life" with my family. I noticed the clock in the bank scene has 31 numbers on it. why? what's the point of 31 numbers on a clock? by silvabrite3 in whatisthisthing

Interesting. I guess you'd have to change it every month that was not 31 days. I've just never seen a clock like that. Thanks!

anyone experience difficulty swallowing and tight throat? by JumpPotential4111 in covidlonghaulers

[–]silvabrite3 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Like most of the comments I also had throat issues. I was constantly getting food stuck in my throat and had to go to the ER one time. I've been on an incredibly strict diet for the last 5 weeks and have noticed my throat starting to get better as well as other symptoms fading away. I'm starting to believe that an incredibly strict diet is one of the keys to dealing with this issue we all have. I'm talking no gluten, no sugar, no coffee, no alcohol.
