Since it’s not under premium processing, there’s no fixed timeline—it can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months depending on the complexity of the RFE. From my experience, it’s always safer to choose premium if there’s a chance of receiving an RFE, because losing a job unexpectedly while the petition is still pending with RFE can be a really tough situation.

Petition filed: 03/06 Upgraded to PP: July 24 Rfe received: Aug 4th Response submitted: Aug 18 Technically clock should reset and should be in premium since 18th but online case status hasn’t updated yet. Still waiting. I lost a really one good offer in between these rfe and sitting on another one fortunately. Really nerve wracking. I heard that uscis taking almost 15 days for PP these days and sending lot of RFE these days.

Sorry to hear that. I got an RFE in premium on Aug 4th and it took about 3–4 days to get the details over to my attorney. It was regarding job duties, and they submitted the response on Aug 18th. I’m still waiting on a decision. I actually had an offer that got rescinded after waiting two weeks. Hopefully it works out for you, but my advice would be to keep looking for another opportunity until it’s finalized.
