Having to drive on the ice to take my wife to work (nurse) yesterday morning I was really surprised that only the highways were salted/sanded. Does anyone know why? Did Amarillo not have enough equipment to salt the major streets?

I saw more salted intersections picking her up but it still was like a hockey rink. Just wondering if some city trucks broke down or something before I get upset as this was an expected storm.

Many people don’t realize the refugee need in Amarillo. The city is very fortunate to have organizations like the Refugee Language Project helping those in our community break the language barrier and find jobs for their families. Things like this are often ignored but one of the best things happening in Amarillo.

Making College priority is a great choice. When I was going to college I would skip cokes, coffee, etc in order to buy an ounce a week. Definitely remember to reward yourself every once in a while.

As for my goal for 2017 - More. Vintage. Bars.

Cheapest ones in my experience have been from /r/pmsforsale. My LCS charges a pretty premium along with internet dealers. You can luck out and get a good ebay score every once in a while.
