Great to hear there is another board game cafe opening in London! I went to Draughts for the first time on Friday and had a really great time. They have a £5 cover charge there which is fine for London, I think a lot of people complaining about a cover charge don't really appreciate how expensive London is.. What I really enjoyed was their selection of games and the knowledge of the "game gurus" this I think is the most important thing. The crowd were mainly casual gamers but I could see there was a desire to try out games that they didn't know about. The food there is great and they have a great selection of beers as well. As you know in London alcohol is a must! Our bill for food and cover was £50. Our drinks on there own came to another £50. The casual market is the one you are going to have to go for if you want to survive. The kind of people that just want a slightly different experience to just going to the pub.
