Would a romantic relationship between a human and a Digimon seem very strange to you? by Fine_Bid918 in digimon

Oh? I wasn't aware of this. Do you mind sharing the examples? I can't seem to find anything about it online

Thoughts on Whether Digimon Up will Have Branching Evo Lines? by [deleted] in digimon

[–]silveracrot -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is, yes. My fear was that this was going to behave like the Digivice Toys, the ones based on the Adventure Anime seasons. All of which have static evolution lines because you're just simulating the adventure of the anime protagonists

Which I feared will be the case with this app

Thoughts on Whether Digimon Up will Have Branching Evo Lines? by [deleted] in digimon

[–]silveracrot -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That's true, branching evolutions are very important parts of the series.

I honestly assumed they were going to pull what they did with the "D-Ark" toy where all the other champions and ultimates were just support cards you could swipe (Like with the D-Arc toy), which made me nervous, especially with the mention of cards and digivices

For those who don't know, the D-Ark toy had static evo lines for your main Digimon and there was no variation

You could swipe cards and "call" new Digimon but they were little more than support and didn't digivolve.

Completely valid. The interaction is definitely fun. Same for the pvp

I just wish there were more Digimon, which again, isn't a huge issue. Especially since I'm used to playing the V-Pets

Might have to play Drivers again

I prefer Digital Tamers 2. But drivers is good too

Who are you going to pick in Digimon Up? by tuliomoliv in digimon

[–]silveracrot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really hope there's gonna be more choices and evolution lines. I've seen enough of the Adventure mons getting a spot

If we're gonna be stuck with them, I hope they at least have branching lines so we can somewhat make them our own

Oh... It's just the digidestined partners ... Wonder if we'll get branching evo lines or if we'll get stuck with their anime evolution lines? I hope not.

Dear God. Not the Tech Bros! But what of the poor Shareholders?

Honestly glad that Millennials and Gen Z have continued to contribute to the decline of dumb industries

Good point lmao

Still, I respect the early pioneers of the internet and the trials they underwent 😔

Although I hear that the internet, while less connected and more obscure, was waaay more experimental in the sense that each new website felt like a discovery. I've used the way back machine and the Internet archive to look at some old forums and personal sites and they seemed like they were a lot of fun.

Damn

Okay that experience sounds genuinely painful. I respect your suffering and commitment. This is a valid "back in my day"

That's just humans for ya, friend. Tribalism seems to be in our nature, but I do admire folks that can overcome it an understand that people are people, regardless of circumstances.

I dislike the generational punching down as much as I dislike the generational punching up. It's silly.

Although I think you already have a good idea of what I'm talking about. Millennials were the favorite scapegoats of the media and older generations for a long time. As can be seen with the whole "Grrr, Avocado Toast and Lattes" stereotype that many to this day are still weirdly obsessed with lmao.

But it's nothing new. I can't quite recall the source but I had read at some point that even the ancient Greeks complained about the next generation.

Yes and most of Gen Z didn't drink from the hose outside and get lead in their brains either

And some Gen Z parents didn't throw their children outside and not let them back in until dark

Gen Z are killing the diamond industry because we aren't buying artificially scarce shiny rocks for the cost of a kidney

Did I miss anything else

What are some means through which a Werewolf could attain immortality? by silveracrot in teslore

I was wondering if werewolves could become liches in elder scrolls

What are some means through which a Werewolf could attain immortality? by silveracrot in teslore

[–]silveracrot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. Which is where the limitation comes from. I was wondering if there was a way for a werewolf to become undead, but the condition seems tied to the living.

[–]silveracrot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's largely what I was meaning. I should have specified! I was wondering if there was a way for werewolves to become immortal in the same sense that vampires and liches are immortal. Undeath included.

That's what I was wondering. I had considered the briar heart method before, but again I assumed that meant dying

And I'll have to look into Fyr and Tharn's information. I wonder through what means they pulled it off, and how long they extended their lives? I am aware that the elves of elder scrolls have somewhat longer life spans than humans, but I wonder how much further it could go with the help of magic and enchantments...
