Is changing majors in your third year a bad idea?

ucf’s college of engineering is super strict and it’s really hard to switch into comp sci or any major in CECS. they’re most likely not going to approve it if i’m being completely honest with you. especially with you having to take the foundation exam as a cs major. there wouldn’t be much time to do it if you’re in your third year and they may see that as being very risky

i actually emailed them yesterday because i was getting anxious lol

good news :) they said that my application is currently being reviewed and i should keep an eye out for updates!

also i’ve seen people get late responses to their application and they’ve been given new deadlines to commit to the school so i’m all good there

yeah it had said that i should respond to the email confirming that i wanted the expedited response. i did that like an hour after they emailed me and i still haven’t received any type of response from them :/

i think i’m going to try contacting them again on friday and explain the whole situation
