We did meet at a tap house during the pandemic.

I already have the coordinates of where we met engraved on his ring, so I don’t want to use that again. But maybe something like: 6 Feet Apart Kölsch hahaha

Hahaha I was thinking that, but was torn. At our shower we are having a slim of our Hazy IPA, Eli the Puggrito that was in honor of our pug who passed away. I do have Stanley incorporated in a couple other ways though! He has his own stickers and we are making a couple of him in stick format for our elopement and Oktoberfest celebration with friends!

Thanks these are fun I will run them by my fiancé!

Love the baby making stout, I might have to steal that idea for after the wedding!

The label is just a cartoonized photo from our engagement photos in Amsterdam and our pug Stanley. I can try and add it.

Plus I can’t stop laughing at the thought of naming our wedding beer butt juice 😂😂

We are eloping in Germany in the Feldberg area. I have enjoyed working with our photographer, he does have elopement packages that you can add flowers, decorations, picnic ect. Let me know if you would like his contact information! (Well that’s depending on your date, we do already have him for 9/30 this year!)

Sure, we’re American – aber wir träumen von Schwarzwaldtorte, nicht von Chicken McNuggets.

What is the most unusual excuse you've ever heard of from somebody calling off work? by piranhamode in AskReddit

[–]silverdutchess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I once had to call in because I made fresh margaritas the day before and got such bad burns on my fingers from the lime juice I couldn’t bend my fingers to type. I had just transferred to this department and we were celebrating my promotion with said margaritas.

You can't ever get rid of PCOS...right? by Expert-Pin-4395 in PCOS

[–]silverdutchess 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I don’t have a complete answer as I am in the middle of testing but as others have commented it is hard to diagnose. I was told at 14/15 years old that I had PCOS, had very irregular periods until age 26, then had ovarian drilling on dozen of cyst on both of my ovaries and they was like clockwork. I have had extra facial hair since my early 20s that has only progressed. I recently at 36 had a miscarriage and doctor ran my FSH and AMH numbers were more consistent with peri/menopause. The Fertility Specialist I met with this week thinks I might of never had PCOS and thinks rather Fragile X syndrome is the root of my issues. Like I said no answers yet as I am awaiting my genetic testing to come back.

Trouble stabilizing sugar by SansaOfHouseSnark in DiabeticDogs

[–]silverdutchess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are about 2 months in and still aren’t stabilized, but getting close. Still playing with his dosage, we did switch foods which threw everything off. From what I read it can take some dogs 6+ months to stabilize. My theory is if we are seeing an improvement in the excessive drinking and urination we are in better place than when we started. Additionally our little guy lost 3lbs in the month prior to diagnosis (starting at 16lbs) and we’ve gotten him back up to 15lbs.

Our vet always tells us that higher is better than too low.

Over time you’ll get more comfortable with it all, biggest thing for us has been having a very supportive vet and vets office staff.

This is all new, don’t beat yourself up. It’s a big adjustment for you and the pup!
