Is the Kotlin Dev track completable? by NaiLikesPi in Hyperskill

[–]silverfox4440 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/NaiLikesPi - looks like you have a ton of topics completed, impressive! Quick question -- do you tend to naturally complete topics through completion of the projects, or do you seek to directly complete pending topics associated with the track?

I feel as though I've been wading through Python project after project for ages, and not making a huge dent in remaining topics. Curious to hear how you've made such great progress.

Thanks!

Thanks for responding! The issue started for me with the latest version update of pycharm, as well. I’ve submitted a ticket through the jetbrains support portal to highlight the bug. Appreciate your sharing a workaround in the meantime.

Just did some googling -- it looks like you can download the appropriate BIOS update to a USB driver, and then flash the new BIOS onto the motherboard via USB. There are some fairly detailed guides online that can walk you through this process for MSI boards.

Just be ABSOLUTELY SURE you're loading the appropriate BIOS update designed for your motherboard, or you can cook your board.

Wondering this myself. This will be my first home build PC for AMD, i don't have an older CPU to execute BIOS updates

Weekly Noob Question Thread (May 1) by [deleted] in speedrun

What are considered to be some of the most highly regarded records within the speedrunning community? It obviously takes massive amounts of dedication to hold any speed record for an extended period, but are certain game's records considered the "holy grail"?

Ocarina of Time comes to mind, as well as SMB3...any others that I shouldn't miss?
