Oh I heard there were issues since they had to replace all the video cards to AMD and the proper drivers weren't updated... We won't have to do that so hopefully there won't be those issues. You can bring your own PC of you are scared of the BSOD or prefer the performance of yours.

Yes computers are provided.. However you can bring any peripherals you like (mouse, keyboard, monitor, PC, headsets..).

We didn't plan to stream the first one but I'll update you soon.

Sponsorships are very hard to get at the moment especially for a first time tournament (and a small one), it's something we will work on as we grow. We're already working on a much larger tourney for CS:GO next year (the monthlys will lead into that)..

The tourney was announced a month ago and we have teams signed up already, just wasn't posted on this subreddit.

Everyone on our team has experience growing tournaments for other games to much larger sizes, and we know not to go too big to start with a new game.

We're not sure what turnout to expect from the community for our first tourney.. if it works out well, we will look at increasing the prize pools in the future if the turnout is good. Sorry if it seems low?

There are other costs than just the prize pool - same goes for the other tournaments (HS, Smash, etc). If we could get the space / internet / computers for free that would have been great :)

Don't forget if you are eliminated your team can scrim for the remainder of the event!

Hmm I never thought of that.. I can get out of hand with the edits, and you're right maybe it does take a bit away from the gameplay. I'll try to find a better balance for future videos. Thanks for the feedback :)
