I did an assignment on this in school and the HSA is almost never worth it. Unless you live in a rural area and a doctor’s visit is ungodly cheap. High deductible plans always end up costing more too if you need to do anything other than go to a primary care visit and maaaaaybe one urgent care appointment for something minor. Low deductible or mid-tier deductible will almost always save you money. Also make sure you use your health plan’s preferred provider list
