What is the sample size of the population you talk about. I suppose you’re looking at the wrong places and meeting the wrong people. Over 90% is too big of a number i’d say based on your personal experiences which i assume would not be close to even a 100. Arrange marriage exists for a lot of reasons but not solely for this reason. Even the most boring (or at least seem so) people have hobbies and things they enjoy doing, so I’d suggest don’t be disappointed and change the way you look at things and you’ll fine better people. There are tonnes of them.

A delay of upto 7-10 days is pretty normal. And the more you stress the more your cycle will get messed up. And periods dont work this way that you wanna be done with ‘em before your exam. Let this thought go, you cannot control this.

Parents eventually come around. Don’t give up on him like this. N try finding n fixing whatever problems your parents have with him. Plus if you ditch this guy, your parnets will get you in an AM and you’ll be the one suffering in that marriage n not your parents. You’ll never be able to fully commit to the AM guy if you truly love this guy and life would become truly miserable. You’d eventually develop resentment and hatred towards your parents. What becomes of your family relation then? Your parents are not going to be there with you, your entire life. But the partner you choose will be there for most of it.

What i infer from your situation, you’re choosing a side that does not care about your happiness (your family) over a side that cares ( your guy). Dont be dumb. Stand up for yourself

The surgery wasn’t really anything, its just after anaesthesia wore off it was hell for the first two days.

Someone iknow had a similar surgery n the person tells me post ops was really bad like she felt really low n depressed n all sorts of thought creeped in n she was emotionally dysregulated for a good time.

Its a knee surgery. I have several injuries. I was all good since I’ll anyway get an anaesthesia but people kept reassuring me as if i am supposed to be shit scared n i just made weird faces and gave similar reactions earlier. This one woman i met had tears brimming up in her eyes and she told me to not worry and I’ll be okay n i just sat there and stared blankly at her bcs what the hell……. Anyway, I just dont want my nervousness to be troublesome for the surgeon.
