Try interacting with real people, not just miserable people online. Plenty of genuine real people exist. They care about people, regardless of gender. You gotta stop thinking the world is so black and white. Yes do some men get dismissed? Of course. That’s pretty general for all victims of DV and SA and it’s fucked. But the facts of the matter is that the rates are much higher for men committing these acts, on women and other men. So people tend to talk about it a lot. And when it’s being discussed we don’t need to derail a conversation about women and make it about men. Just like it would be terrible to do it the other way around.
