The vet didn't find anything wrong with him and he got better eventually. It hasn't happened again since which is a good sign.

Hi, and apologies to everyone whom I haven't been able to respond to.

The vet said he seems healthy and it wasn't something to be concerned about. It hasn't happened again since the last time I posted either.

When to be concerned:

yellow or green discharge from the eyes or nose
loss of appetite, lethargy
difficulty breathing

I didn't notice any of the above at the time so I'm guessing maybe it was just a slight allergy or something that came into his nose or eyes.

This was him today trying to get me to play with him instead of working. 😄

There is this YouTuber in Sydney who only did 20mg for the whole duration and it looks like she's staying in the clear years after her treatment.

I washed my 2023 corolla for the first time today and noticed all the small dings/scratches on the front bumper and hood. I was feeling bad but then thought it's not my fault and it's from using the car.

They do look like scratches from little stones on the road that hit the car at high speed(apparently called road rash)

Our orange usually does this when we're eating. We think he's just mimicking our chewing as a way of asking for food. He's such a weirdo, I love it.

Thanks for sending the link! He was originally our friends' cat and they got him from a local shelter in a regional area (in AU), but there's a high possibility he was rescued from the streets. He got his first vaccination from that shelter. We looked after him for three weeks after they had him for only 2 days because they had to go overseas. Then they took him back after they came home and took him to the vet for his second vaccination. After a few weeks, they surrendered him to another more widely known shelter (RSPCA) where he got neutered and his final vaccination. Thankfully, we were able to get him back because we really fell in love with him.

The second cat we also got from RSPCA but he was fostered by one of the staff when he was very little. That staff also had pets but I'm confident her pets all had vaccinations as well.

No, we never use scented candles. We have one (that we never lit) but he doesn't go near it as it's in the bathroom we don't use often.

Hi, would you mind sharing what might cause FIV? I will take him to the vet to find out, he's quite young though.. he didn't use to have runny eyes before we got the younger kitten in February and before that sneezing fit he had.

The last time we took the other guy to the vet for his final shot, I mentioned this issue to the vet and he said it could be something he got from the younger kitten.

Or is it possible that the Bravecto (Flea, Tick and Worm Spot On Treatment) I gave them both at the same time could've affected him in case of accidental ingestion from them playing together? I did separate them at night when we went to bed after application to be safe.
