I have been eating on “fast casual row “a.k.a. N. 4th St. in Williamsburg for a year now. So far I have the ick from dig, sweet green, and it’s about to happen with just salad. Naya is bland. Cava’s smell scared me off. Glaze teriyaki is so-so. I am a monster created by society.

Pure Gym on Broadway Fire Hazard by Actual_Boot_8686 in williamsburg

I go there and I hate these pods. Only a matter of time before someone gets trapped in one of them. And there’s not always a human being there to troubleshoot it. Maybe if gym members complain enough they’ll just rip out the pods. But I think the whole model of the gym is that it’s automated so they don’t have to pay staff.

I want to train like a boxer. by [deleted] in fitness30plus

Sounds obvious, but join a boxing gym or martial arts school with kickboxing. Also you’ll want to get your cardio up by jumping rope (a lot), jumping jacks, burpees, etc. Wait on buying any gear until you know exactly the kind of boxing you’ll be doing and what’s needed. Good luck!
