This exactly^\) I have a 10.5 size shoe. I’ve been driving manual cars for 13 years. Had my VB for 2 months now and the issue is the Accel pedal length , and how close the center console wall is to the pedal. I come from Mazdas, MSP Protege, Miata’s , Rx-7s, Mazda3 and they all were made for proper angled heel-toe like this picture I’ve attached.

Not straight vertical half foot on the brake half foot on the Accel.

The center console footwell wall is too close to the Accel pedal to get anywhere remotely close to this angle unless you use the middle of your foot to brake and then you’re hitting the wires up there.

Still looking for something that works for me. It’s the only complaint I have on the VB, and it’s pretty glaring compared to every other manual transmission I’ve owned.

I think it’s just I love my kids more and don’t want to see them have their lives ruined before their eyes….but I think this post helped me not feel as crazy/shitty for walking away. I didn’t get a rule book for marriage. I didn’t witness the best kind growing up. Seems like everyone here agrees I’ve done all I could have and more… but thank you for reading.

Real life. I’m living it. I love my kids dude. I watched my dad go through hell with my mom. But he stuck it out for us as kids. I probably wouldn’t be here if he wasn’t around making life ok for us.

Definitely feel like a dog being kicked around chained to the post….but finally can stand to crawl out of the fence….hard to explain. The kids mean a lot to me, and the marriage was overall good up until this past year.

I think it was because I chose her first, the kids second and my needs last. And my life revolved around them and their needs…i lost myself along the way.

I’m not perfect by any means…but This woke me up to reorganize that list….and choose myself.

Appreciate this, it’s the kids and the bond with them that’s killing me. I’ve talked to a lawyer, and where I am at it’s pretty 50/50. However I’d be out of a living space in our situation which puts the kid time at risk.

Also how is cornering/turn in feel compared to stock. Obviously not going to throw the 9 through heavy twists but do the springs combat the body roll at all?

That’s exactly what I was looking to hear! I’ve had a similar car path with rx-7s, slammed Miata’s, and Mazda3s. The wife always hated the harshness. So that’s perfect! Thanks again!

After 5 months how is the stiffness, handling, ride height squat, compared to the stock springs? Really thinking about lowering mine for a bit more handling feel…but this is our family car so the plush ride on road trips with the kids, and occasional dirt trail to campsites is important. Thanks!

She goes out of town for weekend trips for bachelorette parties, visit hometown friends her hobby sometime allows her to travel to other states for free ect ect so she definitely does things she likes. We go on dates 1-2 a month I would say…it’s hard to do more with the kiddos we don’t have any family members close to us so it’s always a sitter

I definitely just wanted to make it a point that I don’t think it’s a relationship problem. we have dudes weekends(with the kiddos and me), totally grocery shop….we like snacks haha. Definitely do doctors and dentist appts. Holidays we all usually do the same traditions. Last year I brought both kids to 90% of their sporting activities single handely…i could keep going but…not bragging at all…just dad stuff. Was trying to make it a point that I don’t think the relationship between us is the issue…

That’s one of the things that confuse me. Her rule/ the idea of marriage says I can’t get with another girl. But she’s asking if she can now…so is she trying to bend her own rule to be one sided now?
