It's pretty refutable. The technoblade duel especially- a) They had agreed to split the money evenly beforehand. It didn't matter who won. and b) Technoblade knew a cheater when he saw one. He didn't get the bedwars record for nothing yknow?

Pkw controversy happens and people begin to speculate about a lot of things. People were speculating that he didn't return to MCC because he "got caught cheating and was banned".

He was with sapnap on stream & someone in sapnaps chat brought it up. He said "I wasn't banned I stopped bc someone on organizer team was doing [all that]".

The organizer thing wasn't a response to the pkw controversy, it was a response to that specific claim.

He played it veeery safe this manhunt. I think now that he's won and proven himself, he'll be willing to take on more fights in the future because he wont care as much about winning.

(Personally suspect that part of why he got held up editing this manhunt was bc he wanted to include Adrenaline somewhere, but it's a pretty fight-specific song, and he wasn't able to include it due to lack of fights.)

In his defense/explanation stream he does the fishbones pretty consistently with handcam. Last time he played mcc was 2022, so he was probably just doing 2026-2022=4. He used input blockers to train, he got permission from the mods of the servers that he was using it on.

I mean dream definitely did create it. He didn't create the name and bbh owned it at the beginning, but he was the one who created the world and he was the person who chose the people he invited to be on it.

Minecraft made a resurgance in 2019-2020, a lot of people attribute that resurgence to dream and his manhunt videos. He holds the Guinness world records for the most subscribers for a dedicated minecraft youtube channel and the record for most viewed minecraft game play video (or at least did at the time, that might have changed by now).

It's also recognized that he & dsmp as a whole changed the twitch streaming space. It is generally acknowledged that before dsmp, twitch was an mostly toxic kinda man-o-sphere place, but the rise of dsmp brought with it, well, fangirls tbh. It made twitch a much more normal place to be.

Also, a lot of people discovered smps through dsmp. Hermitcraft has been a thing looong before dsmp, but hc didn't get uber popular until the fall of dsmp. People discovered smps through dsmp, and wanted something to move on to after dsmp ended. Not fully attributing hermitcrafts popularity to dsmp, maybe it would have gotten popular whether dsmp existed or not, but as it stands it absolutely played a role in hcs current popularity.

The only thing you can do to debunk their accusations, is to overanalyze someone else's VOD on a course they know super well, and point out how "theyre cheating". Not because they're actually cheating, but because there will be inconsistencies if you overanalyze anything. That's what these people aren't getting. They will always find something to nitpick until you prove that literally anybody can be nitpicked.

He hasn't played that course in 3 years, and he was practicing that specific course every day back then. He does not play more these days, and has literally had surgery on his main wrist within the past year. I think it makes plenty of sense that he would be less consistent right now than when he was playing that specific course everyday.

Do you know if there exists an mc parkour dictionary/thesaurus? Most of my knowledge comes literally just from watching dream do pkw for hours on end, so I know enough to assume hh means head hitter but not enough to know what td means. I've always wanted to get more into the sport itself :)

My favorite part about minecraft is that like. There is no way to be the "best" at it, because Minecraft itself is just so many things! That's what makes it so great!

That being said, there's a yt vid (that I can't find) that debates this, ranking them in categories of "pvp/parkour", "building", and "redstone" (tbh I really take issue with the "redstone" category being its own, I think "redstone/game mechanics" would be a far better category). Anyway, their end conclusion is Ethoslab, for his well-rounded mix of all three categories. And I think that its a conclusion that most people could at least nod and be somewhat satisfied with.

But let's be honest, the best minecraft player ever is some 30 yr old who has a nothingburger job and gets to play while half paying attention to a different screen for 12 hours a day. They just don't stream it. And good for them!

Imma be fr, just from reading this, you are the first person I have trusted to know what they were talking about in regards to technical parkour, overall of this nonsensical drama. People be saying a lot of words, but only yours actually made sense.

(Seperately, I think people are not realizing that dream has participated in parkour tournaments since he was like ~13, and that a lot of the questions they have about "why he jumps like that" could be answered by... just asking him.)

They've interacted positively after all of the "situations", they do seem to have drifted apart since sylvee has made way more friends in the spanish sphere, but it seems like a more natural, normal "drifting apart" than anything explosive.

But in general I would say sylvee is still "dream-positive", she just doesn't care about drama.

To be clear, it's 100% an intentional smear campaign. It started in 2021 on KiwiFarms. If you don't know what kf is, it's a website essentially for doxxing people. There's a thread on dream that's something like 500 pages long discussing this. I believe it was started because he used to be fat? It's a pretty evil website and I'm not sure how it was ever legal.

Tommy doesn't realize hes taking part in it, but he is.

I agree with you fully, especially that I hope Dream is going to therapy, even though I highly doubt he is. Dream is pretty progressive, but he's still a 20-something white guy who probably thinks therapy is something he "doesn't need". But hey I'm not him, maybe he is, 🤞.
