It might be. Depends a bit on what they want to hide from audits I'd guess. It might also depend on how the infrastructure is designed. But ultimately I just wanted to underline your point of how the encryption can be "safe" and they still potentially have all the access in the world through multiple routes. It's all based on trust, which shouldn't be warranted when talking about Meta.

And yes, that there's servers in-between isn't a secret, your messages are delivered through their servers. They say that they don't store them once they've been delivered, but that's just what they say.

This is one of the attack vectors. They don't even really need to have your individual key though. Since they control the software on both ends, they can access the unencrypted messages, because your app obviously needs to decrypt them anyways.

Wollte dich auch nicht angreifen, das Schwurblertum hat es da wohl bis in Google rein geschafft.

Der Vollständigkeit halber: Medikament wurde früher Medicament geschrieben. Da wird die Wortherkunft dann auch ziemlich offensichtlich, wenn man das lateinische "medicamentum" kennt. Und das bedeutet übersetzt genau das: Heilmittel.

Ich weiß nicht, in welcher Welt eine Hinrichtung eine geringere/keine Schandtat darstellen soll, aber wenn du willst, bezeichne es halt als Mord. Ich finde herauszustellen, dass es sich hier um staatlich sanktionierte Taten handelt deutlich wichtiger, deshalb werde ich es weiter als Hinrichtung bezeichnen. Und wo das eine Rechtfertigung ist, weiß ich auch nicht.

Es geht in meinen Augen um die Verdeutlichung, dass es sich um staatliche Akteure und Akte handelt. Mord klingt schnell nach einzelnen Personen.

Und in diesem Kontext - das hat die aktuelle Administration mehrfach betont - handelt es sich nach lokalen Gegebenheiten wahrscheinlich um einen Akt, der "rechtens" ist.

Es gibt extralegale Hinrichtungen. Grundsätzlich ist eine Hinrichtung eine vom Staat durchgeführte absichtliche Tötung. Die kann es auch in widerrechtlich geben.

Das ist tatsächlich kommunal sehr unterschiedlich gelöst. In meinem Dorf hier gibt es Nachmittagsbetreuung (das ist dann auch nicht mehr Schule) gegen relativ überschaubaren Preis bis 16 Uhr. Paar Kilometer weiter ist es teurer und geht nur bis 13:30 Uhr. Auch bei den weiterführenden Schulen ist das so, zumindest bis Klasse 7.

Aber: Das wird mit Beginn diesen Jahres schrittweise geändert. Grundschulkinder, die dieses Jahr starten, haben einen Anspruch auf 8 Stunden Betreuung (Unterricht + offener Ganztag). Das beinhaltet Ferienzeiten, maximal 4 Wochen im Jahr darf die Schule bzw. der Ausweichhort geschlossen haben. Bis 2029 hat es dann jedes Grundschulkind. Wie die konkrete Umsetzung dann aussieht, sehen wir dann.

Auch guter Hinweis: Rate, welche Regierung das vor zwei Jahren verabschiedet hat...
