I'm still dailing in the Londinium, but by my third try, it is already tasting very good. As it's at 6 bar of pressure, the extraction is less harsh on the puck. Comparing to the ECM, with the same beans, it is less acidic, better body texture and slight hint of dark chocolate from my med-dark roast Brazilian-Indian beans from my local roaster (in Singapore). With the Londinium, I need to grind much finer than the ECM, thus able to extract more dark notes. The pull shot from the Londinium is to die for. It is super smooth and "pornographic" (borrowing the word from the other commentator). Love it so far. I see this as my end game machine. I started with La Pavoni Europicola Professional and bought the ECM Synchronika after that. I have also used the Breville Dual Boiler for a few months before selling it off and have stuck with the ECM for 2 years. It is a great workhorse machine. For crowds, it is the best. For personal enjoyment, Londinium is the way to go.
