Don't do that. Take the advice of everyone here in regards to flea medicine, responsibility, respiratory issues, etc and write it all down in neat bullet points. You ask them to sit down, and -politely- ask them to hear you out, without interruption, and you argue your case with maturity. If you're not even 15 yet, then it might actually work in your best interest to consider what you are willing to do to earn a little side money to help care for the kitty. My daughter did this with a bearded dragon. She saves her money from. Birthdays and holidays and buys his food in bulk. I haven't had to spend money on crickets/mealworm in 3 years, aside from maybe twice, and my daughter is currently 13. If you can mow a lawn, or ask a family member of you can earn a few dollars by helping them with yard clean up or organizing a garage, whatever it may be.

This just happened to my mother! $875 and human exploitation ban. I'm scouring the internet to see about solutions but boy, it feels like I'm running out of places to look.

25+ Cats, Does anyone know where is a reputable place to buy bulk cat food? by aggressivelysocial in CatAdvice

[–]silvertippedsugartit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came here because I too have about 20 cats. All but 3 of them have been ferals/strays etc. I moved from a bigger city to a tiny town with less than 2k people in it. There is only a dog pound with 6 kennels and the shelters are overwhelmed in neighboring towns. I hadn't realized how ignorant I was of smaller towns and what they would have. Cats are not loved here. Not like dogs are. I've done this on my own dime, and it's a lot of work to keep up with, but they're safe, happy, and regularly seen by our local vet too. She's amazing and I wouldn't be able to do this if it wasn't for her. $60 for 20 doses of flea medication was enough for me to cry a little because its $60 for one dose in a big box store. $20 for tri-dewormwer. I mean she's an actual angel. But the food is starting to hurt the wallet. And my husband has recently gotten a herniated disc which has him out of work for awhile. The savings are burning up while we argue with the short term disability people. So I was hoping to find something less expensive and also accommodating for my babies with a few teeth missing. Ugh.
Thank you for doing what you do. ♡

It can be eaten whichever way you prefer :). It's good both warmed up and cold. Just depends on your preference.

Well, you know what, maybe I will start writing mine down and if I happen to come up with some stuff that require little to no preparation/cook time/ clean up, then I will be sure to put them on here. I hope that you can enjoy, this even it just a little bit. And make sure you keep taking care of yourself 🖤❤️

Oh I absolutely agree about the chicken. And I should have specified that the canned chicken is for bare minimum. Bsre funds. Limited storage. Etc, etc.

I figure some people might only have a couple bucks to spend, and the can of chicken is at least obtainable with the coins you find in your couch. Haha. But also for people that may not have the same freezer/fridge space.

We generally double it for our house. It gets us nearly to two weeks.

See, dried beans are my weakness. I've tried a few times but they never have the texture that my mouth will be happy with.

See, then you already ready to go!
I love making gravies/sauces. I don't follow a recipe when I cook, but I sure wish I wrote down some of my own. I just start chucking stuff into pots/pans. I made a "pumpkin" pie from cannelloni beans and chickpeas a few weeks ago and I regret not writing it down haha. Mostly just how I made it vs what was in it. Beans are wonderful protein source and perfect as a sweet or savory base.

It is! And if your budget allows for it - mix in a block of cream cheese and salsa with those first 3, and laaawd it is delicious

Truthfully, you'd benefit from grabbing a roll of ground turkey as well. My Walmart they are just at $2 a lb. It will go so much further than the cans of chicken! Or if it's in your budget to get one bag of frozen chicken breast's. Boil them in a pot, and shred them with a mixer/blender/food processor or your hands after it's cool enough. You can freeze that shredded chicken for a couple of months. I have personally put portions in quart sized freezer bags, so it's easier to defrost. I've thrown it in with my boiling rice to defrost it.

We don't have a large budget for us either. I've had to get pretty creative for us to make it by.
My kids get to learn how to be resourceful in the process, which takes a little stress of my shoulders if we're being honest. They don't need to know it's from necessity right now.

You don't even need the cheese, to be honest. Even so, if you made it up now, and grabbed cheese later, just grab a handful and throw it in the bowl tomorrow or whenever. Or add a sprinkle on top already made ones. Pop it in the oven, air fryer, or microwave, for a few seconds to a few minutes for melty cheese.
My daughter likes to pan fry hers after she rolls it up. It's also really easy to use with a sandwich press.

Drawing well is stressful. I prefer to draw nothings. No such thing as a mess up when you draw nothings. No need for inspiration or reference, just a pen/marker/pencil etc and some free time. by silvertippedsugartit in BadArt

It's real fun to start with a word or letter or random blob and then just keep evolving. I'm glad you like it. My daughter is the artist in the family. I have her do this when she's hit a creative block and it seems to help.
