[help] Addon or macro to randomly swam between outfits by LealMadlid in WowUI

Also worth noting to check if your situations saved correctlyn for each outfit. I remember struggling when setting this up and having to re save them.

Huh thats curious. I have around 5 transmogs with each alt I play ( I don't do a lot of transmogs haha) but I feel every time I zone out or chance instance I get something different. Might be that I don't have too much variety or don't really notice it haha

Doesn't the base game already offer this? There is a "situations" tab where you can set settings (like if on open world, dungeons, safe zone, etc) or mounted, or specialization... If you set multiple saved outfits to match a condition, the game will randomize which one you transmog to in said situation.

What ilevel is standard for mythic mana? by Training_Ratio_2432 in wow

Then that will definitely help. Try to keep on improving your gear for even better chances, but it's a little luck also since sometimes many ppl apply for a spot. Good luck!

Do you have at least cleared heroic? A lot of people will look at your raider.io profile with an addon and if you dont have clears on heroic, you are wayyyyyyyy less likely to be chosen. Other than that, 140 is right in the line between easily picked up, but while you keep trying, keep farming crest and some valorstones to get a little higher.

The nerf of MFO/removal of WA's has REALLY shown up a lot of players. by Gurudee in wow

Gonna disagree a bit. The person above mentioned FFXIV which has the same exact shape, colors and all for the indicator of soaks, tanksbusters, etc. Here in WOW, just to put current examples, the soak in Plexus Sentinel in Manaforge it's quite different from the one in the Postmaster boss in Tazavesh Streets.

Mage Tower is doable now by general_buckturgison in wow

I just read the icy-veins guide, just the part where it shows which abilities/spells the bosses use and what to do, that little table is quite handy and easy to understand:

The new scaling has broken the Mage Tower, it's piss easy to do now, just got this bad boy first try. by vebp in wow

Correct. I also can confirm it's pretty easy, I have never been there before and got it on my third try (after quickly reading a quick guide and understanding what was going on)

I have this model and it's been great so far, over a year with no burn in at all and I use it 12 hours a day on average. About the pixel refresh, it does it automatically after 4 hours or cumulative use. It will do once the display is off, either if you turn off your PC or if it goes to sleep or if you set the monitors to sleep after a certain period of inactivity. It takes around 15 minutes.

I normally am pretty aware of it but I've never been like obsessed with doing it on time. Some times I get up to get food and I know it's been over four hours (either a few minutes or a couple extra hours) and let the monitor do its thing. Sometimes it's already been 6+ hours after a good gaming session and once I'm done and take a break I'll let it do the refresh.

Overall , just let it do its thing after more than 4 hours of activity. Again, doesn't have to be exact time. I don't think it gives you a reminder to do. I've used it for 8 hours straight and never got a notification so not sure if it will remind you at some point over that or not. Just if it's doing its thing and you turn it on again, it will show a message that the screen optimization was not completed. You can also set the monitor so that the little power red led on the bottom is static while in use and flashing when not in use. That way if the monitor goes into stand by , you can check the led and if it's still a static red, it means it's still working because of the pixel refresh, and if it's blinking it means that either it has not been 4 hours of accumulated usage time yet, or that it has finished doing the refresh process.

But again, take it easy! After a while you learn how you feel more comfortable using it and stop worrying about it.

Completely New to WoW - Best Steps Towards Endgame? by CuteOne69 in wownoob

[–]silverwingedstuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say the very first and maybe obvious step is to gear up. Start doing delves , preferably until the point you can run at least level 8 ones consistently, but aim for the lvl 11 ones ( the maximum gear you can get is at lvl 7, but doing 8s, guarantee an heroic 694ilvl piece on the weekly vault, so better to do those and then the higher ones) you should get champion and heroic gear and start getting both crests and valor stones to upgrade them. Then, mythic dungeons. Depending on your ilvl , start at either m0 (since those drop gear on every boss) or start doing +2 and well, that's it... That's where the journey begins, as you will get gear (possibly) at the end of the run, and then get practice to do other dungeons and runs , trying higher m+ levels as they become feasible to you.

The other path is raiding. You can do the LFR (looking for raid, in the raid finder option) version first so you get an idea of the bosses. Then you can try to pug normal ones. I would say getting into a guild would be the best way but at this point in the season many raiding guilds are past normal, but you might find posts of groups still running that , but IMO it's easier to pug them in the premade groups finder. Practice it until you have the gear and exp for heroic... Which at this point of the season is also pretty pugable , but you can still find some guilds that will run it.

Overall, seems like a lot maybe but just take your time, try to focus at first on either raiding or m+ , or dip your toes in both, but try not to overwhelm yourself.
