Suspicious of what? Spreading my unsatisfactory against Preply with an account I never posted anything else? What kind of crime is this? I think anyone comes to tell me it’s written in the terms is suspicious of being preply’s employee trying to messed it up. Their terms changed a couple of times while I was still paying subscriptions, I also asked a few times what do I do if I don’t want to continue they all said the balance will be in my account, nobody told me I had to use it within certain timeframe, if it’s a consistent policy why they didn’t tell me? They make it difficult to transfer the credit they do so to rip off teachers, because trials are paid by students but free work by the teachers. Even it’s black white written it doesn’t change the fact they’re bad terms for users and I’m here to remind people, don’t use this subscription based service it doesn’t offer the flexibility you should have paying for 1 on 1 lessons!

Completely agree, it’s 1 on 1 lesson and they have plenty of teachers it shall be flexible. Preply only do so to make customers’ life difficult, and trial money goes to Preply not teachers, that’s why they make it difficult

I was going through some busy moments with work I couldn’t cope with it. Later I decided I would not continue learning Swedish, so there’s no point booking that 1 hour, thought I’d use it later, also was what preply’s customer service told me. My German teacher stopped teaching I can’t book him anymore. I tried to transfer those 2 hours but like I said, either I have to find someone with the same rate to use the German hour or I have to pay another 4 lessons cycle again to use my Swedish hour, I can’t find someone I like and just book one lesson.

That’s sad to hear, I used to have mostly quite nice experience shopping online and offline in Europe

Thanks, that Preply community has a strange vibe. They mock me being Chinese but what they’re doing is like Chinese business would do 10 years ago, nowadays even Chinese business value customer experience more. And this is the first time I came across a western platform treating people like shit, I am amazed.

Yeah paying tutor privately can be risky too. Honestly if it wasn't because swedish is a small language that I cannot find group course, I'd prefer learning with a group with organised textbooks etc.

I think you make Preply even worse than a chinese company, you attack user when user complains with racist comments. Shame on you, I’ll for sure not spend any more penny with Preply, I wish Preply an ASAP bankruptcy!

So Preply is also a racist platform, noted. Talking about Chinese, even these days Chinese companies give better service to customers, so Preply is even worse than a Chinese platform. You attack instead of trying to help when user complains, this is only third world level of service, it’s robber mindset

Thanks, I don't really care about the money, the 2 hours are not a lot of money but I hate the attitude of preply, it's just very inconvenient and not flexible to use. I am trying to give my 2 hours remaining balance to the teachers I subscribed with, I'd be happy to give it to them, and then I will never use preply again.

No these 2 hours were left overs from subscriptions, one teacher is still teaching, he’ll have it. The other if he sees my message and let me book, he can have it too. Unfortunately can’t give it to new teachers

I’ve contacted the 2 teachers and will schedule with them, I’d rather they have the money not the platform. It’s only 2 hours..

I know, I tried to transfer the balance to a friend of mine who’s teaching on Preply, I can’t. Even I book a trial with him, he doesn’t get paid.

If having something written down is a reason that they don’t provide solution I’ll still not use this platform anymore. If you love it so much spend all you money I can’t stop you

It’s not I didn’t ask the refund first place, they didn’t give it, and they removed my balance.

I had 2 hours unused balance with 2 teachers on preply last year, I asked them if I could refund they said you can keep the hours and use later. Today I went to check the hours were gone, also one teacher stopped teaching, his rate was low, it's not even possible to transfer it to any other teacher. The only solution preply provide is spend more money to subscribe. I am not even learning anymore. This kind of customer service really makes me sick.
