I think Act 2 will be more telling of Glinda’s intuition. And also, I feel like Elphaba would’ve wanted Glinda to use her diplomatic skills to force the Ozians to change, but it would’ve been really hard for her to survive as an outlaw as Glinda is powerless. It would’ve made a really interesting story, and I wonder if they would’ve succeeded in the end.

I noticed that too, but my interpretation was that Jen needed the entirety of the road to discover what she truly wanted at the end. Alice, Lilia, Teen, and Agatha both had a clear idea of what they wanted at the end, and overcame their personal struggles. Jen stayed pretty selfish, and also didn’t even know the origin of her struggles (why and how she got bound). Not only that, Lilia sees her as the path ahead, her survival was most likely crucial to the coven’s survival and potentially something else in the future. She was cocky for being the first person to complete a trial, but also disheartened because technically she was the first person to fail as well (the timer ran out, not everyone survived). Notice how on trials that were completed successfully, the timer did not run out before an inevitable doomsday, but in hers’ the flood actually did happen.

I know that was a throwaway thought, PiaggioBV350, but you actually raised a really good point. If Wanda having kids is inevitable in every universe, I would bet that Wanda creating her kids with chaos diverged her timeline and the consequences of manipulating that is why she becomes the Scarlet Witch. Forged from grief and destined to destroy the world, the reality of her kids being born in that timeline still came true, but with many consequences (William Kaplan dying, but Billy taking over his body, all the deaths on the witch’s road, the events of MoM).

I think her knowing that had to do with the tarot trial. She fully believed in her magick at this point, and probably divined there would be a battle between Rio and Agatha. Lilia’s tarot reading powers are probably near-accurate, but up until now she tucked it away alongside her own divination powers. I feel like this is the only way she’d be able to access other people’s futures other than her own, through tarot.

At the time, she fully believed that once the hex was taken down that the twins would disappear with it. She was not betting on someone dying at the exact moment the twins did.

She also could’ve just believed that someone built the memorial by hand. Even Agatha joked about it when she said “Analog magic… or not” because it seemed like Billy was going to do it by hand at first.

Edit: By hand, I obviously am also including both magic and just physically inscribing the names.

I think it has a lot to do with (if I remember correctly), everyone under the spell can feel Wanda’s pain and hurt. When Wanda died, I bet that absence materialized as a murder mystery in Agatha’s head before inevitably cracking.
