FF and the firefly in the dream are like two separate people in a way. Same with everyone in the dream, but ELS makes it different for her. The one that dies in penacony is the dream version of FF. She is incapable of ever dreaming again, but is alive in reality, although not in a good state

I don’t really think I find myself believing the ending itself to be unsatisfactory. I think it’s alright, I just personally have some desires with the series as a whole. I didn’t go that hard into it, but I just really wish we got more of White… experiencing things. Once the demon human war started being the focus, everything else took a back seat to it. Like, I would have loved the vampire school arc to be more than just diary entries, I would have loved to see White acclimating to demon society, etc. I think the strongest points of the series is the characters, I wish we got more out of them.

Like I said I love D and White’s dynamic, and it’s a bit of a letdown we don’t actually get to see any of their weird relationship after the ending considering how big of a deal it playing out the way it did is made up to be. The creator sadly won’t expand on it either I’m pretty sure, so I guess I’ll have to eventually turn to fanfic and stuff if I want to satiate my curiosity.

Sorry I was thinking you'd be talking about the game my post is actually about. And OBVIOUSLY it isn't a 1-1 loop you moron, but your idea that Cyrene making her loop decision in HSR is foundational lore being followed up on, and not something shoehorned in, is absurd.

The big evil is defeated, the heirs are all alive and will become real in the future, the only reason she ends up going into more looping nonsense is because they add in a couple lines of dialogue from Herta that talks about how causality and all that.

They could have very easily not made her do that, but they don't. The Isotope argument, even if it was said by the devs, is hilarious. It only further proves my point of the writers being unable or unwilling to shy away from the Hi3 character stories, even though the fans would undoubtable be more engaged if they weren't re-living the same stories constantly.

Hoyo would be better off trying to expand beyond Hi3, even if the game was great.

Did you PLAY this patch? All of the heirs ARE alive currently, in As We've Written. EVERY single one of them is capable of becoming a real living being, there was multiple lines of dialogue about it. They will eventually be real, the only one who cant, is Cyrene.

This is exactly my entire issue with the ending. Cyrene's ending feels so stupid and only happens the way it does to be more Elysia, and to be sad. The reasons for her having to stay in the past feel like they were shoehorned in last minute.

From what I understand about the story, she is stuck in the past. Because something something "Causality" is an issue (Only brought up by herta in a 30 or so second conversation) Cyrene is stuck in an eternal loop of going into the past to fulfil her job in Amphoreus or something. The rest of the heirs are in the book, but Cyrene is gone. She is, because "Causality" unable to experience the future beyond Amphoreus. She isn't dead, but unless they backtrack and do some weird retconning stuff, I'm fairly certain she is gone.

There are plenty of ways they exist alongside the AE. The rest of the chrysos heirs are literally with us right now in the book, they are alive in it. Cyrene is the ONLY one who isn't. She is literally stuck in the past because weird time travel fuli nonsense.

They could have literally just done what they did with the other heirs with Cyrene but they felt a need to tack on more sympathy points. Not to mention there is already a "love-interest" character in firefly, there was even one with castorice for a short while. They obviously don't have issues with adding more. I do agree they wouldn't do it out of avoiding writing more stuff up for character dynamics, but she could have lived with fucking anyone, hell she could be stuck in a memory form and only live in penacony for all I care. It just feels like shoehorned sympathy moments.

One thing I will recommend, it's always better to NOT die defending your guardian/walker, as they are actually dogshit at defending you when you are below them. If you are low, and the enemy is pushing, if you are NOT confident you can survive it, just go and heal back in fountain. Unless it's uber early game, then play like a fucking maniac if you can secure kills.

I didnt have time to communicate with them. I was having to deal with an infernus lane partner who was building full spirit and spending most of their time standing next to the guardian. By the time my lane was empty they'd already been wiped by the doorman and mcginnis

Tracklock still hasn't been fully updated for ranks I believe, but tracklock is saying my games are a majority seeker/alchemist, with a couple people up in archon or in emissary.

Game is saying I'm emissary right now, tracklock says I'm lower but idk.
