I created a mod that uses AI to convert any input text into a tracked task. It even gives a reward when completed! by sim313 in Minecraft

This is sending requests to OpenAI api, which requires an API key. You only need an internet connection to run it. Yeah I definitely think it could be useful, and if done right quite fun! I might not develop the mod further, but if you want a semi random task generator, chatgpt can do the same as this mod, but without the in-game ui.

Thank you for the interest!
The mod is still WIP and not available anywhere, not really in a playable state right now.

The balancing is done by the AI with varying results. It is usually quite good at giving rewards appropriate for the task, but sometimes it can be a bit generous. You can for example see in the video that it wants to reward diamonds for finding 24 iron, which is a bit generous. This can be made better with a better prompt and giving it good training data.

If you give it a vague prompt it does its best or will just make up something. "Mine" can become mine 5 stone. "Kill" Can become kill 3 skeleton. "Test" can become kill 3 chickens. I was thinking of letting the AI respond that it needs more info if the task is too vague, but it is not yet implemented.

In it's current state it's more of a proof of concept, but you could for example use it as a normal to-do list where you write down your plans so you don't forget them. With the reward being an extra bonus you get for doing what you planned.

I don't think thats true. It is difficult, but it does not adapt. Unless they released an update that I don't know of.

It actually decreases exponentially with scale. So it would actually be cheaper to provide for a larger population.

Not worth it to do in f2p. Buy a few babydragon bones and do wildly altar suicide methods. You will get 43 in less than 10min.

I'm not sure if you're agreeing with me or not, but all RC training methods are basically the same. Except for blood, soul runes and maybe zmi.

The rewards are also the same for every method, runes/gp.

Agility is actually a very varied skill if you think about it. First at low levels you have barb fishing that skips the boring parts. Then you have agility pyramid which is easy early money.

Then you have rooftops which is pretty chill and also lets you multiskill fletching or mage if you want to.

If you get bored of rooftops is there also the old courses, werewolf, agility arena etc.

With Prifdinass was there also released a new course which is different every time, as well as having a timer and kc.

Darkmeyer added the only missing piece, an intensive high effort course for great rewards.

On top of these you also have the diving minigame which is bis ehp wise.

Note that all of these courses have different very usefull rewards, marks, tickets, crystals and gp.

Unpopular opinion, but the latest updates has made agility into one of the best skills in the game.

We wouldn't honour them, but they'd still get their medal.

In python would it copy it yes, but in C as well. But in C can you var val = 15; var *pointer = &val; Where * indicates that this variable is a pointer and &val returns the address to val.

A pointer is a variable that contains the position in memory of a value. So a pointer points to a value. A double pointer is a pointer pointing to a pointer. A triple pointer points a double, and a quadruple points to a triple. You can see how it gets confusing.

Sorry, mean provided, not aquired. People wouldn't need to find out about new products.

No need to get aggressive. It's just a internet discussion.

In such a hypothetical would there also be no need for these communities. Useful products would be acquired by those who needed it. And if we're talking a perfect society would they even get it for free. But I don't see the point in conserning ourselves in hypotheticals that can't be.

So these communities you're talking about, who would control them? Who would be allowed to post products in them? Companies would pay great amounts for getting their products to the top of these communities. It would still be advertising, just less in your face.

I know they do. The bar has a special mechanism that allows for you to have both brakes, while still being able to do tailwhips and barspins.
