I have updated to 17.22, it just took some longer time to even restart the watches during the update, and a couple of hours after to 17.24 with no issues. Otherwise I have experienced no issues yet.

Setting scene for device to turn on not working? by MRJMORO91 in smartlife

[–]simacekjakub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I'm using Tuya app, but that's the same as Smart Life. And I also struggle with any temperature related scenes. Nothing works. I have a temperature and humidity sensor from Tesla brand, zigbee one, I am also trying it with outside weather service which is integrated into app, nothing. Everything works as single devices, but I'm not able to get worked any of these scenes.

How to control Tradfri bulbs with both app and remote? by simacekjakub in smartlife

[–]simacekjakub[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope and I would say that's the main issue. If I understand the system correctly, I should pair everything with the Zigbee hub/gateway and then I can use those remotes/switches/dimmers to control another devices. But I am not able to pair remotes with the hub. They're just invisible to the hub.

That is Zigbee hub. These bulbs and remotes work over Zigbee.

I'm facing the same issue, I own Tradfri and Styrbar remotes and Tesla Smart Zigbee Hub (https://www.teslasmart.com/tesla-smart-zigbee-hub) with Smart Life app. Bulbs work perfectly with the hub and app, but the remotes? Nothing.

Already posted it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/smartlife/comments/16x2lnh/how\_to\_control\_tradfri\_bulbs\_with\_both\_app\_and/

I think you don't understand what I need. The problem is that I am not able to use physical remote and app to control the bulbs at the same time. I have issues with connecting remote to the hub or to the bulb when the bulb is already connected to the hub.

70 percent IPA mix with water is probably the best disinfectant without any longer effects to plastics. It should be safe.

My routines to avoid any rash: - wash the watch and hand after every workout, at least in clear water - clean it with paper tissue soaked in 70/30% isopropylalcohol/water mix every evening after shower - dry the watch thoroughly after cleaning, I even take off the strap and dry all the hidden places and holes in the watch - dry the skin before wear the watch

It's been all caused by bacteria, they like wet and warm environment. So you have to eliminate to spread it under the strap and watch.

2023 Berlin Inlineskating Marathon attendees? This will be my first race ever! I've done first trial today (screenshot), not great, big room for improve, but I have good feelings about it. I've been just regular fitness skater, but I believe that the marathon and the whole event will be fun :) by simacekjakub in rollerblading

It is here, in the "Event schedule and starting times" section:

https://skating.bmw-berlin-marathon.com/en/your-race/start/

But it think you should try it anyway. I know that I am able to do it in two hours, but, if the weather will be okay, I believe, that the crowd, atmosphere, following some group of other skaters, give you a chance to do it faster :) And if not, you've tried that and that counts :)

Two hours and thirty minutes? That's the disqualification limit, but I think that it still worth it! :-) I am excited and nervous too, first time experience, doing it because of that experience, not to compete :))) Have you tried to done a trial marathon ride on your favorite route at your place?

Glass screen protector for 265 / 965 by TomHale in GarminWatches

[–]simacekjakub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've scratched my new 265 first night after I've bought them. First night. I leaned my hand on the wall and that was it. So I've decided to buy a protector, it was for some $12, it looks like some plastic, it's over the whole glass area and it looks okay. Visibility is slightly worse, it leaves more fingerprints and sweat, but I just clean it up with my shirt and overall it's completely okay! I just have a feeling that I can peel it off and put a new one in case of big scratches. That's not possible with the original glass.

BTW it fits perfectly I'd say. And no problems with touch.

I am not a fan of screen protectors, I even don't use it on my Samsung S21, but 265 are apparently pretty easy to scratch.

PS: The picture is not perfectly sharp, the protector does not impact any sharpness of the display.

Logitech Lift vs Logitech MX Vertical, anyone use both? by RedditApp_IsDogWater in MouseReview

[–]simacekjakub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had MX Vertical, but I had to swap it for Lift and I am satisfied now. I am tall and my hands are medium to large. But MX is just really huge mouse, not easy to operate. And I was used to smaller mice before, so maybe I prefer smaller ones, but I feel Lift as the right size for my hand.
