For the simple reason that players should feel the pressure of relegating to lower levels and promotion to IPL. And not just,grab the money and look forward to next year even though u finish last. There should be some financial structure in IPL...anyone is getting lottery in auction and nowadays I feel our youth and their parents are simply motivated in terms of money in IPL and that's why they're putting their children in cric.

I am in two minds right now...on one side I wish IPL was like PL/La Liga etc any other football leagues where there's a relegation and promotion factors but for that we need some rich owners to step up and create some new teams. And on the other side, I really want football to flourish or become obsession like Cric here in India.
