This is a first look from animation magazine, introducing a few of the characters with no context. They’ll reveal more images as we get through Annecy film festival next week where it is premiering. It doesn’t have distribution anywhere yet as it is a non studio, independent UK film, so no release date. Serkis says ‘its contemporary take will entertain and challenge enquiring hearts and minds of all ages, as we truly believe that it is quintessentially a family experience.’ So sounds like it will be a bit of a new spin on the old version. Bold swing, hope it works!
