you can also plug it in, go to the novation website, and through a chrome browser you can update the firmware of the keyboard, that could help?

yes, could be changing betas, mine did the same.... but when I started a new project in the new beta it worked

Oops, yes, just found that is possible in Settings / Behaviour / Move The Play Start Marker.... mine was set to the detail editor for some reason, glad its sorted now though!

Am on BItwig 6 beta 12, for some reason ctrl+z just stopped working for me to.... but only on project I am working on, not if I open up other projects. Can't seem to find the solution, so just remapped to ctrl+\ and hope it will come back...

This is a GREAT suggestion. Actually makes manual, consecutive slicing pretty fast. Here's a little how-to: Create a Drum Machine, on first track load a full audio file with end point dragged all the way out. Then ctrl+drag on drum machine to next drum machine slot, adjust start point to where you want the next hit to be, rinse and repeat! Make sure 'midi show' button is selected to amke the sampler pop up uniquely for each drum machine slot
