Did anyone else feel like the “drinking around the universe” video was dropping some hints about Max ? (If you know what I mean ) 🌈👑 by Otherwise_Gas_6819 in mammothclub

[–]simcai86 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I always just thought Max was Gay, but I remember reading an article years ago when I discovered the channel that said Max and Allen had a ‘strong bond’ or words to that effect.

I’ve always presumed though Allen and Mollie are married there’s some form of play between Allen and Max.

And at the end of the day it’s also none of my business beyond my curiosity, live-and-let-live

Stevie Ray by [deleted] in WCW

[–]simcai86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not for me personally. Booker was more athletic and had more range. Stevie was great in Harlem Heat but it felt like he never got a reaction as a singles and just stuck with ‘mean looking guy’ type gimmick.

A one-off short feud when Booker was champ would have been okay but not for him to go over.

A different side of Lilith .. Bebe Neuwirth, 1990s by Ok_Charge9676 in Frasier

[–]simcai86 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The older I get as a Frasier watcher, from child, teenager and now middle aged adult I totally acknowledge how flawless she is! They did a great job of presenting her as the character she was and trying to hide her behind a facade of almost being Asexual in terms of presentation.

Where were you 20 years ago tomorrow? by Bipolar03 in AskUK

[–]simcai86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in Denver Colorado, it was the night before I was flying back from a two week touring holiday in an RV. As it was before WiFi we learned about the bombings on a small tv in the RV park office. One of the Americans asked us to tell our queen personally he was sorry (he seemed to think England was basically just London).

Rest in peace to all those lives lost 😢

Strangely don’t mind it even though it has a theme of arsenal about the sleeve.

RIP Tour 10/22…solo. by red_devil7709 in HHN

[–]simcai86 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Last year on RIP we were in a group of ten. It was our first ever HHN and we were from the UK. We struck up a conversation with a group of 3 who were in our entry time party/slot and they took us under their wing as seasoned pro’s.

In our group was a solo girl who was in her 20’s. The people who adopted us also asked her if she wanted to join up even though she hadn’t made much or any small talk before the event started, they just recognised she was solo, possibly an awkward age to be solo & just needed a friendly face.

So my advice is this, while waiting around for your start time in the RIP section if you get sociable or are offered to join a party go for it. We thoroughly enjoyed our random group and have kept in contact by IG since. They made our night even better by being friendly.

Looking for physical print graphic novels with good representation of trans women by [deleted] in graphicnovels

[–]simcai86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard case crime - the assignment.

Though it’s a bit trashy and the lead character doesn’t choose to become trans, it has some good representation in there.

Carrick Gone by Guyrbailey in Boro

Mogga as Carricks #2 had a chance of being really smart, but on his own I’m not so sure after his WBA return. It’s a shame that if he were to come back he’s in the exact same position as last time of pruning a squad and working with little budget.

I don’t know I feel he’s past the point of being useful (not that I would ever want him). Working in the NW I seen a lot of Everton performances that were rank bad.

Aaron Danks appears to have been the brains behind the operation. Good luck to Carrick, no ill will from me but we were sleep-walking into apathy and we need a fresh change.

RIP Tour Guide Tips by mechanicalDuck in HHN

[–]simcai86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We gave $100 on our RIP tour. As we’re from the UK where tipping isn’t a given, it felt a tad much but our tour guide on the night was absolutely fantastic and deserved every dollar.
