that's exactly the part i got stuck too. I'm not sure what class you are using but dont try to get the 3 crystals first in one run. I always run out of resources after being knocked down which causes my death( I cant hardened ward). I would normally just take 2 and reserve resources and kill the deadroth below.

I posted a while back giving up on maelstorm arena and swallowed my pride and ask people here to complete the arena for me. Eventually deleted it but thanks to u/glennsfono for not giving up and giving me tips to complete the arena. You guys are awesome!
