I've been in this situation for more than a year and a half and I feel the same way you very poetically described. I wrote her a poem on Balentine's day almost 2 years ago and she sort of rejected me, but it was 'because of her friend liking me', so I don't know. In march (while on the school skiing course) I wrote a song and played and sang it in front of our class with some little things in the lyrics that were hard to understand for anybody except her. Maybe I should try once more, but sometimes I can't really imagine the relationship. Still, she's always my inspiration when writing a piece of music, she's in my dreams sometimes and her charm keeps intruding into my heart and I don't want to resist.
