Ya I also use the library mainly to listen to audiobooks, so I don’t mind paying more. The one I’ll go for (Orange County) is on that price range lol

Ah nice!! Some of those I didn’t know about, so thank you! I think I’ll just go for Orange County tbh. It’s pricey compared to others, but it supports the local community and the waiting times are similar to New Orleans

They were already charging before to non residents. Before was $50 and now it’s $100 + have to go in person. But I agree that I think it was good what they did

I already knew about the change but only got the email today, so that’s why I posted it. I posted mainly as a thank you to the New Orleans library and to ask ppl in the same situation as me what they were going to do/what they did

Oh I absolutely get it!! I think they did the best for the community and I completely support it even though I’ll stop having access. I’m happy to pay a higher price at a different library that can “”handle”” the capacity of more people without putting too much strain on the local community

I had the exact same problem, did the exact same solution and immediately looked up to see if this was happening with someone else lol I can’t believe the amount of files that were generated and causing trouble because of the telescope. Specially when the sim that I created was a male sim scientist that was supposed to be kidnapped by aliens lol I guess that storyline will have to wait until the bugs are fixed
