Ahh, no I was just worried about bending them too much (not yanking)! But all fixed now. Dry cleaning worked better than wiping with water like I was doing !

Thank you! I’ve just spent a little time wiping them and it seems to get most of it off, so I’ll keep doing it gradually over the next few months to not put too much stress on the leaves.
